blog #6
I choose Steve Craig's "Men's Men and Women's Women". I found that the sentence that describes the rest of the passage is located in the first paragraph second sentence. It reads "Large advertisers and their agencies have evolved the pseudo-scientific method of time purchasing based on demographics, with the age and sex of the consumer generally considered to be the most important predictors of purchasing behavior". In this sentence, the author explains how advertisements are always target to a certain public and he explains it by describing four different tv commersials. He explains howthese ads are shape to appeal female and or male consumers.
